So it’s mid-Spring season and I will give you the pass-card to willow about the bipolar weather that comes with it! We all know its about comfy clothes and dark colors that we’re still channeling from late winter days, but I won’t give you the excuse to look miserable at any day! Many of my looks comes from simply imagining myself going out every single day to the streets of Paris, wearing those long dark coats, which forms you a lot of looks. Camel colored jackets and long coats go very well with the moody weather, as it was a huge trend for the Winter/Fall 2015 runway shows. Vintage looks that contain light blue denims, long white sleeved t-shirts and black leather shoes (I was thinking Louboutin) are the way to think. This is my first time with My.Kali, where I’m going to be your style-pal every month, taking you through what I’m inspired by, looks I’ve tried (worked and failed) and trends we can create together. Starting with some of my favorite looks for this month that I put together through out my days in city Amman.

– Picture; up left: When it comes to fashion, you don’t have to follow the trends only, but you also need to learn how to recycle your wardrobe and update it with minimum coasts. I have a small tiny secret behind this picture. This suit is my dad’s when he was my age! Believe it or not, now it’s mine! Now that’s what I call recycling vintage. Brought to you all the way from the heart of London – UK. The camel colors are best paired with maroon colors, here worn is a vintage shoes found at the downtown – Amman shops, which are the perfect add to this outfit. Off course the white shirt as usual.

– Picture; up right: Sometimes going out to grab something from the supermarket, or fetching a quick coffee, we tend to dress down or not put an effort into our looks. Well, the GAP  models always have this off-duty appeal that I often aspire to achieve, when going out for simple grabs or something that doesn’t require me to dress up. Looking so simple is simple: wear a plaid shirt, the ones you stock in your closet, which by the way are perfect for springy days, over a plain (according to what suites the shirt, here I picked white, as it goes with everything and doesn’t require me to think twice) t-shirt paired with your favorite jeans and you’re off to go!

– Picture; up left: During this season, it’ll rain unexpectedly after days and weeks of sun and clear skies. But hold on to those last winter outfits, as it’s yet to get chilly. This outfit screamed courage and sharp when I wore it the other day. And it gave me a push to wear a huge scarf, Zara in here, around my neck, which goes perfectly with the maroon colored shoes. H&M denim slim fit jeans, UNI QLO sweater and the long ‘Chanel-look’ with this Zara knock-off black coat.

– Picture; up right: When it’s a sunny day, it feels fresh, and you ought for something as fresh. I like to be well presented even by taking a simple walk to anywhere, with leather goods, or good man accessories and gadgets, to not only look neat, but to also feel good and gathered. A white plain converse or sneakers helps you get inspired easily, to put something together without over fussing. I-pad case: from H.E by Mango. Vintage wallet: Cartier. And my favorite LV I-phone cover.

– Picture; up left: This look I pulled for the event ‘The Made By You’ by Converse. The brand was calling fashionable and stylish people to come wearing their Converse in their own style, and this is how it came together for me. A sailor-chic with the blazer, and a sporty add with the watch for a causal sense. Blazer: Zara. Top: Bershka. Pants: Zara. Shoes: Converse. Watch: Swatch.

– Picture; up right: Sometimes the retail and the high-end stores don’t offer the kind of shoes or anything else for that matter that you maybe searching for, or suites your personality. Therefore, going to the old shops in your downtown offers you more variety and options, rather what’s trending in the fashion world. I brought these burgundy shoes from a second hand shop in Al-Balad (down-town Amman) that made my day, as they had the wow factor. They usually add a cool vintage feel into anything I wear. Here, paired with high-waist dark blue jeans from H&M. Sweater: Tommy Hilfiger. Accessories: Swatch watch. I-phone cover: Louis Vuitton.
